Datasets Library Disclaimer

When using resources in Cumulative Environmental Management Association’s (hereinafter know as CEMA or the Association) Datasets Library please note:

All reports, data, computer models, interim reports and other materials (“information”) generated through the efforts of the Association are the property of the Association. CEMA information is for the use of the Association to meet its stated purpose. This information may be used by Members or other parties for their own purposes pursuant to the guidelines set out herein:

Guidelines:

CEMA produces a considerable amount of information and data. This is in the form of the consultants’ reports and data, recommendations, summary notes, administrative documents, etc. The following shall apply to all CEMA information:

  1. Traditional Environmental Knowledge information has been removed from reports before they are made public. Individuals or groups requesting TEK information will be referred to the CEMA TEK Sharing Agreement and the policies and procedures contained within.
  2. All completed reports will bear a CEMA copyright mark.
  3. Restrictions on the use of materials can be specified by CEMA.
  4. CEMA reports and information are freely available with the following qualifiers as outlined below.
  5. In the case that there is a request for an incomplete or draft report the release is at the discretion of the CEMA Management Committee.

Qualifiers: The CEMA is not responsible for the use you make of any information found in the datasets library.

  • The information found in the datasets library is not a substitute for professional opinion related issues.
  • The CEMA does not recommend or endorse any particular point of view or line of research. You are encouraged to consult a broad range of resources before forming an opinion or making a decision.
